This breakfast room had more problems than simply being outdated.  The vaulted
ceiling made the homeowners feel like they were at the bottom of a canyon and the fan
created a “strobe-like” effect when the lights were turned on.  We made the ceiling feel lower
by creating open beams which extend across the room.  By putting the lighting in beams which are now
below the fan, we have eliminated the strobe effect.  This is now the clients’ favorite room in their house.
