Before the renovation, the living room was cut off from the rest of the house and rarely used.
We opened up the back wall to the hall which ran behind it and matched the opening to the one
to the den on the other side of the hall. Now the living room is part of the regular flow.
The
bookcase
was re-located to another room, modified to house the television, and painted
and distressed. In its place is a treasured Welsh dresser.
